1. Introduction to IOT

Internet of things में बे सभी चीजे शामील होती है जिनकी अपनी एक  unique identity होती है, तथा networking के लिए internet से भी connect होने  की क्षमता होती है | जैसे: internet enabled mobile phone,.PC  तथा इनके साथ साथ

Internet of things में बे चीजे भी शामील हो सकती है , जिन्हे traditional तौर पर हम use में लेते हुए आ रहे है : जैसे : thermostat ,utility meter , irrigation pump and sensor और control circuits आदि |

 इन सभी चीजों को internet के माध्यम से connect तथा कण्ट्रोल किया जा सकता है | साथ ही ये सभी devices  अपने end point पे आपस में एक दूसरे से communication  करने में भी सक्षम होती है |

internet of  things , mobile phone , cloud technologies  , wireless networking , तथा sensor networking के द्वारा लाइ गई नयी क्रांति है , जो हमारे जीवन को सरल ब fast  बनाने में , एक सफल योगदान दे रही है |

experts के अनुसार  2020  में तकरीबन 50 billion devices को internet के माध्यम से connect किया जा सकता है |

इसीलिए कई बड़ी hardware और software companies बड़े पैमाने पे ऐसी devices बनाने में जुटी हुई है , जो internet of things में शामील हो सके |

IOT को और बिस्तार रूप में देखा जाये तो , यह सिर्फ connecting things  (Machine ,Device ,Appliances) तक ही सिमीत ना होकर , connecting device को अपने end पे data communication और exchange कराने में भी समर्थ है , ( जिससे data और information को control करके , user से associate करा जा सके )

अतः IOT application में data communication से 3 निम्नलिखित successful point प्राप्त होते है :
a. data : Raw Facts
b. Information  : Data को filtering ,processing ,categorized ,condensing तथा contextualize करके information को प्राप्त किआ जाता है |
c. Knowledge : Information को organize तथा structuring करके , इस information को किसी specific purpose के लिए use किया जाता है , जिससे नई knowledge gather की जाती है |
